Being a fan doesn't mean you've had to be there from the beginning.Being a fan means you're willing to be there through the end.But there is no end. McFly are here forever!

I apologise in advance for any mistakes because I'm on my phone!
Right, it's really really reeeeaaalllyyy annoying me that people are saying mcfly have changed their style on their latest album for 'fame and money'
That's not the way I see it at all. If you listen to every single album they've brought out, you'll notice there's something different, something new about each of them. And that is what happened with this album; it's not their priorities that changed - it's their musical talent that has developed and advanced. The songs might be different styles, but when you listen to them, properly listen, you can hear the same old mcfly in there. So the songs aren't like 5 colours or that girl? That's because they've grown up - those songs are brilliant, obviously they are but now that they're older, their songs have a certain level of maturity in them. But they're still fun. And mcfly, in my opinion, did not bring out this album with the sole intention of making loads of money and becoming more famous. They brought it out because they love what they do, they love music and they wanted to share it with us. Personally, I'm proud that they have come this far, developed musically but still managed to hold on to that 'mcfly' sound, and I will always love them, no matter what.

I’ve never said that they are in for the fame and money. They’ve changed because they needed to change. And I’m ok with the change because I trust them. And I will never give up on them, no matter what.

They took a lot of risks with the new sound. And I respect that. I really like the album. It’s fresh and it’s different.

Anonymous said: Hey, I'm the same anon as before. I'm sorry for the late one :L So, another question (sorry for the bombarding of questions). Don't you think that their music is more than just the money though? What I don't understand is why they were willing to change their entire style of music for the money. I know that they want to become famous because of their love of music, but is fame really a good reason for them to change their music course? I know that our generation is filled with those who love this electropop sorta genre. But they weren't like that when they were younger. I know it's because of the whole music industry thing, but I dont know. I personally think that before Above The Noise, it seemed like they didn't care about the fame and money, and made music because of their love for it. I don't know. I'm entirely unsure about this. But now, I think that what they're trying to do is fit in with the rest of the music industry, which I don't really support. I love McFly because of their originality and how their music isn't like the stuff we here now on the radio. I don't know if you'll have a different perspective on this, because I live in Australia and i presume, you're there in England ... Any thoughts?

I understand what you’re trying to say. I can’t complain much because I listen to some mainstream artists also. But Party Girl was a shock to me. I didn’t expect that from McFly either. They took risks with the new album. Maybe it’s just an experiment. Who knows?

I remember Tom telling us to listen to the new songs with an open mind. So I did. I really like the album. It’s good but not as good as Radio:Active or Motion In The Ocean.

So, I guess you haven’t got a favourite song from Above The Noise, then? There are songs like I’ll Be Your Man, This Song, Foolish, Sunny Side of the Street, Hotel On A Hill, that are different and they sound like the old McFly. Maybe you can give them a listen, again? I don’t know…

Sadly, I’m not from England, I’m from a small country called Romania.
